Fast Shipping Both Ways

Textbook Rentals's strategic partnerships with delivery services provide you with reliable and cost effective shipping. We currently only deliver to U.S. addresses, but cannot ship to U.S. territories or APO/FPO/DPO addresses. (Weekend and P.O. Box delivery are only available with Standard shipping, and deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii may take longer than the estimates below.)

Please note: severe weather conditions may cause unexpected shipping delays. Textbook Rentals is not responsible for these delays and cannot offer any shipping refunds in such cases.

All orders take 1-2 business days to process and ship out. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the US Post Office and FedEx and UPS, such as New Year's Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 10 a.m. Pacific Time have the current and next business day to process and ship. Orders placed after 10 a.m. Pacific Time will process and ship over the next two business days.

Free Return Shipping

The shipping for returning your rental at the end of the rental term is free. However, if you choose to take advantage of our 21 day return policy and return the book for refund, the actual cost of shipping the book to you will be deducted from the refund amount (even if you were not initially charged for shipping as part of a free shipping promotion). For return shipping, simply print your prepaid shipping label available from the returns page under My Account. For more information see the How to Return page.

Standard

$5.99 flat rate $5.99 FREE Ground Shipping (3-7 Business Days)

We’ve got the fastest shipping in the industry! Standard orders are typically shipped in 1-2 business days, and are usually received within 3-7 business days of shipment. Standard shipping is the only shipping method that will deliver to Post Office Boxes or on the weekends. (All Standard shipments to Alaska and Hawaii cost an extra $10.00 per order.)

Express

$9.99 per item (2 Business Days)

Express shipments are guaranteed at your door within 2 business days after an order is processed and shipped (Express orders usually ship within 2 business days of your order date). We will not deliver any Express shipments to Post Office Boxes or on Saturday, Sunday, or observed holidays. (All Express shipments to Alaska and Hawaii cost an extra $15.00 per order.) Please note: Most Express orders cannot be cancelled once placed. Please double check your order before placing!

Express Plus

$19.99 per item (1 Business Day)

Express Plus shipments are guaranteed at your door 1 business day after an order is process and shipped (Express Plus orders usually ship within 2 business days of your order date). We will not deliver any Express Plus shipments to Post Office Boxes or on Saturday, Sunday, or observed holidays. (All Express Plus shipments to Alaska and Hawaii cost an extra $15.00 per order.) Please note: Most Express Plus orders cannot be cancelled once placed. Please double check your order before placing!

Extensions

Extensions do not incur any shipping cost. If your cart includes only extensions, then you will not be charged any shipping and you will not have to enter any shipping information. If your cart includes rentals and/or purchases with extensions, don't worry because you are only charged shipping for the rentals and/or purchases.

Returns

Please note: If you received “free” shipping, but choose to take advantage of our 21 day return policy and return the book for a refund, the actual cost of shipping the book to you will be deducted from the refund amount.
